Hi, I’m Jacob. I’m a filmmaker and post-production editor with a passion for shaping narrative through rhythm, tone, and visual detail.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Film and an MA in Post-Production Editing from Bournemouth University—two industry-focused degrees that taught me not just the theory of storytelling, but the practical skills to bring ideas to life on screen. From lighting a scene to refining the picture lock, I’ve trained across the full production pipeline.

What Drives Me

Whether I’m behind the camera or in the edit suite, I’m drawn to projects with purpose—stories that connect, challenge, or inspire.

My strengths lie in editing for emotional impact, pacing to fit purpose, and always keeping the audience experience in mind. I work confidently with tools like Premiere Pro, Avid, and DaVinci Resolve, and I love the challenge of shaping raw footage into something memorable.

Who I Work With

I’m currently open to freelance and full-time opportunities with creative agencies, production houses and in-house media teams. I also collaborate directly with small businesses on promotional and branded video content.
